At Firm Foundations™ our goal is to produce content and products that will glorify God, bless you, and support the global body of Christ to grow into His image (2. Cor. 3:18). The Bible teaches that when we gather together, each of us has a psalm, a teaching, a tongue, a revelation or an interpretation (1. Cor. 14:26). We view our website, YouTube channel, and any social media we decide to utilize as an invitation to all who earnestly seek to grow in and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord. The material we create then, is our contribution to our online gathering.

The founders of our team are both members of a local church here in Falkville, Alabama. We are under the authority of our pastor, and church elders. Furthermore, we humbly submit ourselves to the body of Christ at large to keep us grounded in the truth of the Gospel of Christ Jesus. We affirm the historical doctrines of the universal Church. We strive to help foster unity in the body of believers without discriminating against any denomination or movement that is true to the Gospel. We hope and pray that we will see the day when denominational differences will not be accompanied by division.

We also recognize that due to historical reasons, the Church had largely alienated itself from its roots, the roots into which it was graphted in Christ. The rich history and heritage of Israel is part of the Church’s DNA. Over the last few decades many strides have been taken to reclaim this heritage. Some have, admittedly, swung too far in the opposite direction also. We desire to help this generation understand the Bible in light of the very sources quoted by or alluded to in the text, bringing greater clarity to difficult to understand passages and bridge the gap between the two flocks that form the “One New Man” in Christ (Jn. 10:16; Eph. 2:11-14).
